Our story

How the egg got laid.

OddEggs started the way a vịt lộn does: plain on the outside, a surprise inside. Four of us, a yolk whisperer, a hatcher, a crack inspector and a lamp keeper, kept making apps together that none of our job descriptions asked for.

Three of them hatched: CritterPass, Scootch and 6pm. Two more are wobbling. At some point the pile of eggs needed a carton, and the carton needed a name.

Why a fertilised duck egg? It looks plain, it’s a little weird, Saigon loves it, and it scares some people. That’s roughly our product strategy.

How we work

From yolk to app, in five warm steps.

Every app goes through the same small life cycle. Each of us owns a step, and the egg gets passed along the carton until something peeks out.

Every idea starts as a joke someone won’t stop making. If we’re still laughing a week later, it’s an egg.

We ask who it’s for and what it fixes, until the joke has a job.
3Step Incubate Khánh · Chief Hatching Officer
Small builds, every few days. Ugly is allowed. Unfinished is expected.

Hold it up to the light. Tap it, shake it, crack it before you can.
